Wang Sanyun，ethnic Han, was born in December1952 in Shanxian County of North China's Shandong Province. He joined the CPC in July 1979.
Wang started working as a teacher in December 1968 and received a master's degree from the Party School of the Central Committee of C.P.C. in 2001.

1974-1977: Graduate majoring in Chinese at Guiyang National College

He is an alternate member of the 17th CPC Central Committee, member of the 15th, 16th and17th National Congress of CPC.
